CBIP CoE- Activities

Activities Undertaken by COE - Training

  • Long Term Industry Oriented Placement linked Training Program – CBIP, CoE regularly conducting 06 months PGDC in Transmission & Distribution System. The 20th batch of the same course will start from 15th July, 2024.
  • Induction Training Program : CoE conducts Induction training for the newly Inducted Trainees as per the customized requirement for the organization in Power Sector. CBIP has conducted this training for NTPC, NHPC, THDC, SECI, RRVUNL, TVNL, UPCL, OPTCL etc.
  • Short Term Training Program : As per the specific requirement of the organization including behavioral Training Program, CBIP, CoE regularly conducting short term training programs for the various power utilities.
  • International Training Program : CBIP CoE also conducts Training program for the International Power Utilities. Recently programs conducted for Uganda Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. Nepal Electricity Authority etc
  • Promotional Linked Training Program : Since 2013, CBIP regularly conducting promotional linked training programs for DTL, which covers training followed by the test.
  • Doorstep Training Program: CBIP, CoE also conducting Doorstep training programs as per the need of the organization at their respective sites.
  • Specialized leadership program /Advanced Management Program: CBIP, CoE in collaboration with reputed Universities / Organizations conducts Advance Management Programs. Recently conducted for NHPC Sr. Officers.
  • Online Certification Courses for Working Professionals : Recently CBIP, CoE started Online Certification programs for the working professionals on Cyber Security and Renewable Energy Development including Grid Integration and Energy Storage System.
  • Skill Development Program for the Contract Workers : So far, CBIP has trained more than 8000 contract workers in the various power stations of NTPC.



    • Activities Undertaken by COE - Consultancy

  • Protection and Technical Audit of Substation: Recently CBIP CoE started Protection and Technical Audit of Substations (400 kV, 220 kV and 66 kV) conducted for DVC, OPTCL, PTCUL, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli etc.
  • Training Need Identification (TNI) and Training Need Assessment (TNA) - CBIP performs TNI and TNA of the Power Utilities as a part of Capacity Building Program. Recently conducted for MSETCL and APGCL.
  • Conduction of Departmental and Recruitment Test: CBIP CoE also conducts departmental and Recruitment test as per the requirement of the power utilities.
  • Other Misc. Consultancy Activities : Recently CBIP has also conducted Third party Inspection and Assessment of the presentations of the Assistant Engineers of MSETCL.
