- To act as a liaison between the CIGRE and Indian experts
in generation and High Voltage transmission with the main aim of exposing Indian
expects to the state-of-art technology in High Voltage transmission.
- To encourage membership in the “CIGRE”, collection of
the annual subscription and remit to CIGRE Headquarters.
- To help Indian Engineers in procuring the publications
brought out by CIGRE from time to time.
- To recommend Indian Experts for participation in various
CIGRE conferences / working groups / task forces, etc.
- To host CIGRE meetings, seminars, conferences etc, in
India.
